Welcome! I am a scientist, professional engineer and enthusiastic volunteer for many professional and social organizations. Currently I am working as a Fluvial Hydraulics and Geomorphology Specialist at Alberta Environment and Protected Areas. I am also working as a Practice Review Board Member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). I am a Co-Founder of Water Resources Engineers Forum, an online platform for water resources education, awareness and research. I am an amateur musician and loves to spend times in music. I am an actor and director for several theatre arts in Edmonton. I am an enthusiastic volunteer and hold leadership role for many organizations, including President of Bangladesh Canada Association of Edmonton (BCAE) for 2023, and Vice-Chair of Hydrotechnical Division of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineers (CSCE) for 2023-2024.

Guest Lecture at University of Alberta
I delivered a guest lecture at the University of Alberta on December 01, 2022. It was part of the CIVE 431(Water Resources Engineering) course. The lecture was focused on the following applied topics in Water Resources Engineering:

This study evaluates GCMs participating in the CMIP6 for their ability in simulating historical means and extremes of daily precipitation, and daily maximum, and minimum temperature in Alberta.
The Dream of Building a Mother Language Monument in Edmonton
In this article, I tried to document the chronological development of this dream project. I am glad that BCAE was able to submit the formal application on December 31, 2023 under my Presidentship. I hope this article will help us wiring the entire history when we will inaugurate our dream Mother Language Monument Square in Edmonton!
